With February almost over, we can take a second to reflect on the past month and all the amazing things we did! We should also take a second to celebrate al our achievements from the past month. And the best way to celebrate is with a few delicious drinks. All the drinks in our newsletter this month is made with Equal Zero Calorie sweeteners for a more health conscious drink.
Apple Martini - Serves 1
Try out this classic cocktail and embrace your inner spy!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened apple juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 packet EQUAL® sweetener
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/4 drop green food colouring (optional)
- Slice of fresh apple (optional)
- Ice cubes
Preparation
- Combine apple juice, lemon juice and Equal in mixing glass until combined.
- Add vodka, ice cubes and food colouring.
- Strain liquid into a martini glass.
- Garnish with a slice of fresh apple, if desired.

Cranberry Lime margarita punch
Serves 10
This punch can be made with or without alcohol. The cranberry juice creates a perfect ruby red colour, and the lime gives the punch a nice tangy taste.
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 container (12 ounces) frozen cranberry juice cocktail, thawed.
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 6 packets Equal® sweetener
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 cup diet ginger ale OR tequila**
- 1 lime thinly sliced.
- Fresh cranberries, optional
- Lime slices, optional
- Substitute 1/4 cup Equal Spoonful for the packets.
**May substitute 1 cup club soda for the ginger ale. Increase Equal to 10 packets.
Preparation
- Combine water, cranberry juice, lime juice and Equal in a punch bowl. Stir until Equal dissolves.
- Stir in ice cubes, ginger ale, and sliced lime. Serve garnishing each glass with a few cranberries and lime slices, if desired.

TEA PUNCH
Serves 24
Nothing beats a great big punch bowl filled with delicious punch, and this citrus and tropical fruit punch will be the talk of the night!
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750mL) golden rum
- 2 cups brewed green tea, chilled.
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 24 packets Equal® sweetener
- 3 orange slices
- 3 small lemon slices
- 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries.
- 1 litre diet ginger ale, chilled
- Additional orange slices, optional
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients except strawberries and ginger ale in a large container.
- Refrigerate 3 hours.
- When ready to serve, transfer mixture to a punch bowl.
- Stir in strawberries and ginger ale.
- Serve over ice. Garnish each glass with an orange slice, if desired
